Guy
joined the NRDA staff in February 2008, leaving a career in
banking that spanned 35 years. During his banking career,
he spent time in Goldsboro, Snow Hill, Elizabeth City, Rocky
Mount and New Bern.
He is a native of Edenton, NC and now lives in Trent Woods
with his wife, Betty. They are active members of Garber United
Methodist Church where both serve as Stephen Ministers. They
have two grown sons and four grandchildren. Guy has been an
active Rotarian for more than 30 years and is a Paul Harris
Fellow. He is a graduate of Wayne Community College, the North
Carolina School of Banking at UNC Chapel Hill and the Graduate
School of Banking of the South at LSC in Baton Rouge.
In his spare time, Guy enjoys outdoor sports activities that
include golf, boating and kayaking.

Larry graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication and Theatre Arts. Since that time he has assumed a number of roles during his professional career. Larry has been providing a variety of lending and small business technical assistance (TA) services for Neuse River Development Authority since 2002.
Prior to NRDA, he provided lending and TA services for a Micro-enterprise Peer Lending Program, housing counseling and education for a USDA-Rural Housing Service program and he developed and implemented a pilot NC Individual Development Account (IDA) program including providing housing, small business, and financial literacy counseling and education.
He is a Certified Housing Counselor, Certified High Cost Loan Counselor, and licensed real estate salesperson. Prior to his business and housing roles, Larry was in the substance abuse treatment field for over 16 years as administrator and treatment provider. He lives in Carteret County with his wife Karen. They have two children.

A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Barbara Brown moved to New Bern from Annapolis, Maryland. While in Annapolis, Barbara held various jobs within the recreational boating industry before finding one which allowed her to shop for a living as the senior member of the purchasing department for a large wholesale/retail boat supply company.
In February 1996, Barbara joined the staff of NRDA as a part-time loan servicing agent. After serving as the Operations Manager for several years, Barbara was named Chief Financial Officer in February 2005.
Much of her spare time is spent in her workshop where she creates custom jewelry. She serves as treasurer for the Craven County Arts Council. She lives in New Bern with her husband and an assortment of dogs.

Theresa joined NRDA
in 2006 after several years of being a stay-at-home mom and
caregiver. She handles the front office with all that entails,
and as operations assistant, is charged with providing back-up
for the rest of the staff.
Theresa enjoys home-improvement projects and will tackle a remodel
at the drop of a hammer. She lives in Havelock in her mostly
remodeled house with her husband Mike, their daughter and son,
two dogs, a cat and assorted fish. They enjoy hockey, the beach
and their Wii.
